The TOEIC® 4-Skills reports a 4-skill (i.e. Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing) overall score for test takers. Given that the TOEIC® Listening and Reading (L&R) and the TOEIC® Speaking and Writing (S&W) tests report scores on different scales, they cannot simply be combined into a total score. Therefore, scores for each skill are converted into a common 100-point scale so that a combined total score can be obtained. The overall score is the sum of the 4 separate scores, with the total score out of a maximum of 400 points.
