Fanis started his career by founding and holding the role of Head of Growth of kariera.gr -the leading online job-board in Greece. He managed to grow the company from 0 to 4M in revenues in just 8 years.
After the acquisition of kariera.gr by CareerBuilder in late 2008, he became the VP of Sales for CareerBuilder in Europe. Holding this position, he built and worked with various sales teams across 7 EU countries (Greece, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy & Romania). Over the 10 years he stayed with CareerBuilder, Fanis hired trained and lead to success more than 200 Sales Professionals which generated tens of millions of dollars in revenue for CareerBuilder in Europe.
In late 2018, Fanis left CareerBuilder to focus on his new endeavor, the launch of Accelerate Growth -a boutique consulting firm helping startups double their revenues in 6-12 months. He has worked with dozens of startups -from early-stage to more mature ones- and is proud to report that his team has managed to deliver on its promise at 100% of the cases they worked for.
