Dimitris Nikolakopoulos
Dimitris currently holds the position of Chief Digital Officer in one of the largest publishing groups in Greece, Attica Publications, with a variety of digital and print media. He studied Communication at the American College of Greece, specializing in Advertising and Political Science.
He joined the group as Commercial & Business Development Director (Print/Digital) of all magazines, newspapers and digital media, including Forbes and the newspaper Kefaleo, www.capital.gr , www.forbesgreece.com, www.askmen.com , www.esquire.gr, www. madamefigaro.gr, www.shape.gr, www.missbloom.gr , www.yupiii.gr, www.themamagers.gr, www.kairos.gr, www.tripadvisor.com.gr, www.msn.com, Inmobi, and publications such as Madame Figaro, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire , Shape, Celebrity, Mirror, Casaviva, Tiletheatis, Tilerama, Akis Petretzikis, Contract, Tasty Guide, Check in Athens, Ikos Magazine.
Dimitris Nikolakopoulos put his signature on the transition of a traditional media group into the digital era by taking charge of shaping the commercial strategy and performance marketing of Attica Media Group.
Dimitris started in the late 90's in the Advertising Department of IMAKO, contributing to the commercial launch of several print/radio media such as Big, Active, Pink, Nitro, Esquire, Downtown, Pink Woman, Car, Lipstick, Cover story, Golden List magazines as well as the radio stations Nitro 102.5 and Sfera 102.2.
After a very short break at Citibank where he took over the bank's magazine (Signature Exclusive), he returned to the media as Advertising Manager of Playboy and Prestige magazine of Attica Publications. He continued at the Lambrakis News Agency (DOL) as Director of Digital Media Advertising over IN.GR among others. He then moved to the Lyberis Group putting his signature on building the Digital Media and Radio Department to return again to DOL as Director of Digital Media Advertising. He is a member of IAB, OPA & FIIP, and regularly attends seminars and conferences in Europe in relation to new technologies and publishing.
Dimitris is one of the key mentors helping students of the Certificate in Digital Marketing understand the commercial and business aspects of digital marketing plans.
