Antigoni Kapasaki
Antigoni holds an RSA Diploma for overseas teachers of English and a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from Hellenic American University, NH, USA, and is currently working towards her PhD in Applied Linguistics at the same university.
During her teaching career, Antigoni has run her own language school and continues to teach all levels of English to children and adults. Since September 2007, she has been working at the Hellenic American Union as an EFL instructor in the English Language Program and as a teacher educator. She also works as an examiner and examiner supervisor for all CEFR levels, and teaches Methodology courses in the undergraduate BAELL Program at Hellenic American University.
She has been involved in various projects for the Center for Applied Linguistics and Language Studies and has coauthored the book “Practice tests for the BCCE examination” (Hellenic American Union, 2011). She has developed testing items and materials to supplement EFL course books. She has attended a number of seminars and conferences in Greece and presented in TESOL events, at HAU seminars in Greece and Bulgaria and at the first international conference on “Europe in Discourse” organized by Hellenic American University.
