Starting from the Hellenic American Union building, we explore central Athens and discover its neighborhoods, the traces of its past, and what connects us to it today, with Nikos Vatopoulos as our guide
With both the starting and ending point at the Hellenic American Union on Massalias Street, and using this axis as a base, a new series of Athenian walks begins with Nikos Vatopoulos. These routes branch out toward Neapoli, Kolonaki, Syntagma, Omonia, and Exarchia. Each walk takes place on a Saturday, following a different route each time, so that by the end of the series in June, a dense urban web surrounding the Hellenic American Union will have been explored.
The third walk, specially scheduled for early May, will focus on the Syntagma area.
The next two walks in central Athens are scheduled for May 31 and June 21, respectively.
Registration for each upcoming walk will be available after the previous is completed.
