Children’s book author Giorgos Lebessis recounts his popular story and discusses its main themes with young readers
In this live online storytelling event, Giorgos Lebessis, author of The Sock Thief (Psychogios Publications) introduces us to a very special character, who goes by the name “Kaltsokleftis” (The Sock Thief). For Kaltsokleftis, children’s socks are valuable, as they serve as the filling of a magic pillow that protects him from the nightmares which otherwise keep him awake!
Through the storytelling of the adventures of his little fluffy hero with Skoupati, Petsas, Fofou and Kyrkos, the author highlights the value of offering a helping hand to those around us.
The narration of the story will be followed by an open discussion of its main themes between the author and the participants.
The event takes place online via Zoom and is designed for children aged 6-12.
