A musical tribute to commemorate the centenary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, with the Ambitus Choir of the Lycée Léonin, Nea Smyrni.
As part of the events for the centenary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, Ambitus Choir will take the audience on a musical trip through Asia Minor’s musical culture and heritage. Katerina Vassilikou conducts the choir; Michalis Chanos plays the piano and Sergios Giotis the flute. Cherished Asia Minor songs, especially from Smyrna, transport us to the place which gave birth to a great civilization that ruled for 3,000 years, and which remains alive in our collective memory. |
