The Hellenic American Union and the Museum of Greek Children's Art are organizing a new art workshop for children and inviting young painters to set sail for the open seas of autumn!
This fun-filled workshop introduces children to the wonderful world of art and give them an opportunity and tools to turn their creative ideas into imaginative artworks.
With artist and MGCA curator Athanasia Sklirou as our guide, we will set out to create our own colorful, rolling seas, drawing inspiration from works by Greek artists, as well as children’s paintings. Make sure your young artist has some markers, crayons, white A4 watercolor paper, colored paper, glue, scissors, and a piece of A4 cardboard box for the session—and a smile! —and join us for this unique creative voyage!
The event will be held online via Zoom and is designed for children aged 6-12.
