Official ETS© websiteScores are based on the candidate’s performance on the questions in the test. Candidates must answer at least one question each in the Reading and Listening sections, write at least one essay, and complete at least one Speaking task to receive an official score. Candidates receive four scaled section scores and a total score.

There is no passing or failing TOEFL® score; individual higher education institutions and agencies set their own score requirements.

How you’ll get your scores and score reports
Through your ETS account
ETS® sends an email to candidates when the scores are available. Access to the scores is available through your ETS® account. The scores are valid for 2 years. Score reports are available 2 days after the results announcement through your ETS® account.
By mail
ETS® allows candidates to receive their score reports in printed format. The basic requirement is for the candidate to have submitted the relevant request to ETS® before the exam day. The time required for the postal delivery of score reports is 11-15 days after the exam date. Delivery times may vary depending on the local postal services in each country.
Results
TOEFL iΒΤ® results are available online at the official ETS® website, approximately 4-8 days after the test date. TOEFL iΒΤ® certification is valid for two years; after two years' time, retaking the test may be necessary. The Hellenic American Union does not have access to, does not make public, and does not maintain any record of the candidates’ results. Candidates should address any requests to the ETS®.
